I hopped the BART into downtown. And then, being in San Fran, what else could I do but ride the cable car down to Fisherman's Wharf. My plan for eating a nice, big steaming bowl of clam chowder somehow transformed into taking an open top bus tour around the city. Boy were there a lot of people dressed up in Santa outfits!! Everywhere you looked there were Santas! Top the day off with some meandering along the waterfront and walking up and down a few hills before back to the airport and home.
